High Technology High School, a math, science and technology high school in the Monmouth County Vocational School District, was recently named the best in the nation by the U.S.News & World Report. Classroom Close-up, NJ featured the school last year on a segment about research done by two outstanding students.
The crew returned to the school recently to focus on the many elements that make this school one of the best in the nation, including dedicated teachers. The segment can be seen April 8 at 12:30 and 7:30 pm on NJTV.
One of the main factors that led to the high ranking is that students complete internships and research with major corporations to solve real world problems.
"While I am proud of the top honors, I am most proud of the quality of students that graduate from the school, attend top colleges and go on to impressive careers, stated the school's principal Daniel Simon.
