School Safety Plans

Does your district have one?

The State of New Jersey requires every school district to create and maintain a Districtwide School Safety Plan.

NJEA encourages all local presidents to contact their local Superintendents to obtain a copy of the Plan for use by the local association.

If your district does not have a Districtwide School Safety Plan, contact your Superintendent and offer to be part of the committee that will create the Plan.

If your district indicates an unwillingness to create a Plan, contact:
