The Passaic County Community College is offering this 20 hour professional development course to aid educators in their ability to communicate with Spanish speaking parents. The emphasis will be on basic communication skills associated with real life situations, the classroom, and school terminology. Students will learn vocabulary that covers every aspect of a student’s school career. The course is designed to build stronger relationships with Spanish speaking students and families.
The course will take place from January 28 through May 6, 2013 at a cost of $130. Twenty Professional Development hours will be awarded upon completion of the course.
