NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in EducationThe NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in Education is currently accepting grant applications from New Jersey public school employees. Grants may be requested for any amount between $500 and $10,000. Applications are to be mailed with a postmark date no later than March 1, 2013.

The only foundation of its kind in New Jersey, the Hipp Foundation supports initiatives to promote excellence in education. More than $1.5 million in grants for innovative educational projects that represent a bold, fresh approach by school employees have already been awarded.

You can read about past and current Hipp Grant Projects to get ideas to further develop your own project. In addition, articles that were written by past Hipp grant recipients for the January 2012 and January 2013 NJEA Review magazine are full of inspiration. Use these resources to learn what other recipients were able to accomplish with their grants. You can reach for your dreams. Apply for a Hipp grant and bring your innovative ideas to life.
