U.S. Senator Cory Booker will be the keynote speaker at the NJEA Walter J. O’Brien Legislative Conference on Feb. 15.
The annual conference, held at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village, is your opportunity to be part of the discussion on education reform, to get educated on evolving issues, and to get involved in the legislative issues that affect all public school employees and public school retirees.
Now is the time to begin thinking about how the occupants of the Statehouse align with your values and priorities as a teacher or educational support professional. The conference will be an important opportunity to have conversations with your colleagues from across the state and with your elected leaders about what matters most to you.
In addition to a general session, members meet with legislators one-on-one and in group breakout sessions to discuss important issues.
Join in the discussions on education reform, lead the fight for K-14 state aid, and lobby legislators to shore up the retirement systems, and protect your economic security.
