There’s still time to register for a three-hour, interactive workshop conducted by the New Jersey Department of Education’s (NJDOE) Office of Evaluation. The workshops focus on the use of high-quality assessments and a variety of baseline data to set targets when creating student growth objectives (SGOs).
The NJDOE recommends bringing a team of up to five SGO implementation leaders and teachers who will be responsible for turn-keying the information.
Dates, locations and times are:
- Friday, Sept. 19-- EIRC/LRC-South in Mullica Hill, 9 a.m.-noon and 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 22-- Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, 9 a.m.-noon and 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 29-- NJPSA in Monroe Township, 9 a.m.-noon and 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Seating capacities vary by location so early registration is recommended.
