NJEA and Eagles Radio have partnered to recognize some of the many dedicated teachers and educational support professionals who make New Jersey Public Schools great for every child.NJEA members can nominate a fellow teacher or educational support professional to be the NJEA/Eagles Radio All-Pro Educator of the Week. There will be a total of eight All-Pro Educators honored during the season, one per week beginning the week of Nov. 15 through Jan. 3.  Learn more

Annual New Jersey Hall of Fame Essay Contest

Who belongs in the New Jersey Hall of Fame? The New Jersey Hall of Fame wants your students to participate in the decision making process. New Jersey public school students are invited to participate in the annual N.J. Hall of Fame Essay Contest. Students are asked to nominate potential inductees – living or dead – to the New Jersey Hall of Fame. Nominations can include famous people as well as ordinary citizens who do extraordinary things. This  year’s contest is a summer project so that students will have more time to research or interview, if possible, the person they wish to nominate. Nominations must be postmarked by Sept. 1, 2015 to be eligible. Learn more

NJEA has partnered with Thunder 106 and B 98.5 to recognize the significant contributions our members make in the lives of their students.Students, parents, community members, and public school colleagues are invited to nominate a Teacher or ESP for a School Spirit Award. Each month the best submission will be selected and Thunder 106/B98.5 will highlight that public school employee on the air and award them prizes including a restaurant gift card. Learn more
