During a 2010 RAA celebration, the Mercer County Education Association sponsored a fun-filled day of reading at Hamilton Marketplace’s Barnes & Noble that included face painting and a magician. MCEA Secretary and Ewing EA President Mike Tucker read to children during a visit from the Cat.

NJEA publications will cover Read Across America activities in April. If you would like your events considered, e-mail us two or three of the best digital photos of your Read Across America celebration, along with a few sentences describing each photo, or mail them along with this form to:

Make sure digital photos are jpeg files. Printouts of digital photos cannot be used. Don't send more than three photos. Photos and discs will not be returned. The completed form and photos must be received by March 12.

Be sure to include the parental permission form for any children who can be identified in the photos.
