SUPER SIMPLE LEARNING:

"Fire up Super Simple Learning’s most popular video, a charming rendition of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” and chances are your infant child will laser-lock onto its cleverly choreographed visuals. But unlike other kid sites that simply pair glitzy effects with trendy music, Super Simple Learning deals in education-grounded songs and videos that focus on math and phonics skills. Each video is paired with coaching ideas for instructors, including preparation tools, activity ideas and song cues kids can act out as a verse plays."

One of Time Magazine's 50 best websites of 2013!

www.SMORE.com - "The days of posting a flyer around the neighborhood are over. Smore helps you create amazing pages that you'd be proud to share."

A great way to have students create flyers that are digital and fun. I myself will be having my 7th grade US 1 students make a flyer for an fictional abolitionist rally; as we begin to study the concepts of the anti-slavery movement.

GOOGLE MAPS -- EDUCATION: "Google Maps for Education provides resources to help teachers and students explore, create, and collaborate with mapping tools. Students who are taught geography are better equipped to understand how human and physical systems interact and to make informed decisions based on that knowledge."
