NJAGC 2014 Conference: Gifted Education: Creativity, Curiosity, Challenge
The New Jersey Association for Gifted Children’s (NJAGC) 23rd annual conference, titled “Gifted Education: Creativity, Curiosity, Challenge” will be held Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8, at the Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater.
Educators of the gifted face the daily task of creating imaginative, innovative, and stimulating instruction to prepare gifted learners for the future. Presenters at the NJAGC 2014 conference will provide diverse perspectives on successful programs and strategies, that foster creativity, offer opportunities for curiosity, and provide the challenge necessary for gifted learners to develop to their full potential. Alignment with the Core Curriculum State Standards will be provided where applicable.
The purpose of this conference is to provide opportunities for classroom teachers, principals, curriculum supervisors, and guidance counselors to gain insight into the educational and social emotional needs of gifted students and to support all those responsible for educating the gifted child.

Cost: $79-$199, depending on membership in NJAGC and one- or two-day attendance
