Negotiated plans offer exclusive enhancements

In September, the School Employees’ Health Benefits Plan Design Committee (SEHBPDC) voted to approve changes to retirees’ benefits.  These changes allowed the state to keep benefits affordable while maintaining and, in some cases, enhancing benefit levels in the School Employees’ Health Benefits Plan (SEHBP).  The result is that, in most cases, public school retirees have better benefits than ever before.
