DESCRIPTION:Higher Education Conference – March 27-28\, 2026\nThe conference begins with registration at 2 p.m. on Friday followed by workshops\, dinner and keynote address. On Saturday\, the conference continues with more workshops and concludes with lunch. \nAgenda\nFriday\, March 27 \n2:30-5 p.m. | Hotel and NJEA Check-In\n4-6 p.m. | Workshops – Session I (participants choose one) \n\nCourageous Conversations\nYour Voice is Your Power\n\n6-6:45 p.m. | Reception\n7 p.m. | Welcome\, Keynote Speaker\, Dinner\n8 p.m. | Networking Events \nSaturday\, March 28 \n7:30-8:45 a.m. | Breakfast \n9-11 a.m. | Workshops – Session II (participants choose one) \n\nInterpreting Community College Financial Condition: Comparative Financial Audit Analysis\nMember Engagement\nVision and Goals\n\n11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m. | Workshops – Session III (participants choose one) \n\nLeaves of Absence\nReplaced by a Bot: The Future is Now\nWho We Are and What We Bring\n\n1:30-2:15 p.m. | Lunch \nHigher Education Collective Bargaining Summit – March 28-29\, 2026\nThe Summit will immediately follow the conference beginning with registration at 3 p.m. on Saturday followed by workshops and dinner. The summit will continue Sunday and conclude with lunch. \nThe summit is an interactive program that will address current issues facing negotiations teams. Strategies and techniques for strengthening your local to improve bargaining position will be explored. \nAgenda\nSaturday\, March 28 \n4-4:15 p.m. | Check-In\n4:15-6:45 p.m. | Summit\n7-8 p.m. | Dinner \nSunday\, March 29\, 2026  \n7:30-8:45 a.m. | Breakfast\n9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | Summit\n12:30-1:30 p.m. | Lunch \nThe costs to attend are: \n\nConference & Summit – Single: $465; Double: $325; Commuter: $180\nConference Only – Single: $325; Double: $255; Commuter: $180\nSummit Only – Single: $145; Double: $75; Commuter: $0\n\nRegister\n \nMembers must register themselves for the conference – there is no group registration using the online platform. Payment will be required by credit card only. When registering\, members will need to know their NJEA PIN. \nRegistration must be completed by March 12\, 2026.
