DESCRIPTION:Featuring: Dr. Sarah Shear & Tamar LaSure-Owens \nIn this webinar\, we’ll discuss simple strategies for including these narratives in your lessons while helping students engage with larger historical forces such as colonialism and land dispossession. \nThe Education Department at Historic Hudson Valley will host a series of webinars in March in which teachers from across the country will share experiences and strategies for teaching the history of Northern Slavery.
