DESCRIPTION:Participants will review the bilingual code and its relation to other aspects of multilingual learners\, such as WIDA\, the ELD framework\, and Key Language in Bilingual Ed. The presentation will focus on asset-based language and forward language vs remedial language. Participants will also learn about support systems for current and former bilingual students\, including those who may have learning disabilities or be SLIFE.
