SUMMARY:NJEA Human and Civil Rights Committee Day of Service
DESCRIPTION:The HCR Day of Service will take place across the state with a service activity happening in the North\, Central\, and South. \n\nIn the North\, the HCR Committee will focus a Food Drive effort at varying Weis Markets throughout Sussex County between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The donations from the food drive will be going to Benny’s Bodega. SIGN UP HERE\nIn Central\, the HCR Committee will focus a weeklong Food Drive effort (Dec. 1 – Dec. 5).  We are asking members to drop off nonperishable foods to the Monmouth County Education Association Office any time between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. during that week. Donations will go to the Food-Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.\nIn the South\, the HCR Committee will gather to collect period products and assemble packages for donation at Period Poverty. The assembling service will occur from 9am-2pm.  SIGN UP HERE
