Helping preschoolers make a smooth transition

Jacqueline Kruzik is in her 17th year as an instructional assistant in the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District. She works with preschool students and helps them develop academically and socially as they prepare for elementary school. She and her family live in the community and her daughters went to school there. As a parent and employee of the district, Jacqueline has been active in the PTO, Girl Scouts, and other community groups. Earlier this year, she helped build a playground in memory of a student and was featured in an NJEA television ad. She serves as the Legislative Action chair for her local association.
