The New Jersey Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NJAHPERD) has compiled resources to help educators, students, and their families continue their physical education at home. Visit their resource page and check out their Twitter hashtag #HPEatHome where educators are sharing their ideas. NJAHPERD’s national organization, SHAPE America started this initiative. This list of videos compiled by Illinois educator @ElemPE1 has workouts for a variety of ages that use jump ropes, basketballs, or no equipment at all!

An elementary school physical education teacher in Pittsburgh shared an idea for using a modified Monopoly board to get children excited about being active.
