Steinhauer: Moratorium bill still NJEA’s priority

NJEA President Wendell Steinhauer issued the following statement in response to a letter from Senate President Steve Sweeney and Senate Education Committee Chair Teresa Ruiz to Commissioner of Education David Hespe, requesting that PARCC scores be limited to 10 percent of teacher evaluation for another year. "NJEA appreciates Senator Sweeney's and Senator Ruiz's acknowledgment that the stakes for PARCC should not be raised next year.
