NJEA and the World Champion Philadelphia Soul Football team partnered this season to recognize the NJEA/Soul VIPs of the game. The VIPs were nominated by colleagues and won a table for four in the Field Zone section at a Soul game at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Their prize packages included free parking, food and beverage, and a meet-and-greet with the players and Soulmates dance team.

April 29: Jaime Howey, English teacher, Absegami High School, Greater Egg Harbor Regional Education Association

May 13: Denni Foster, Child Study Team, Millville School District, Millville Education Association

May 20: Sandra Lokuta, AVID elective teacher & coordinator, Lakeside Middle School, Millville Education Association

June 10: Debra Ramos, bilingual educator, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School, Trenton Education association

June 17: Luis Flores, paraprofessional, Lakeside Middle School, Millville Education Association

July 15: Caleb Cavileer, second grade teacher, Marsh Elementary School, Absecon Education Association

August 5: Rachel Morgan, fifth grade teacher, Richard Stockton Elementary School, Cherry Hill Education Association

August 5: Christina McClaren, Language Arts Teacher, Mullica Township Middle School, Mullica township Education Association
