Thanks to the financial support of NJEA, its members, and corporate partners, the NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in Education awarded 16 grants this year totaling $97,036 to educators in school districts across the state.

The Hipp Foundation is dedicated to supporting projects that will enhance and improve learning. The Foundation honors the memory of Dr. Hipp, former NJEA executive director. Since its creation, the Foundation has awarded over $2.1 million in support of 394 innovative educational projects that represent a bold, fresh approach by public school employees.
