The News 12 New Jersey 2019-2020 scholar-athletes are some of the best and brightest from across the state. Although their senior year didn’t end the way they had hoped, the legacy they’ll leave at their high schools and in their communities will be felt for a long time.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, News 12 New Jersey was only able to feature 25 students this year. The annual awards banquet was unfortunately canceled. So to celebrate the finalists, News 12 decided to do it virtually.
Jordan Totten of Old Bridge High School wins a $6,000 scholarship courtesy of the NJEA. She is attending Georgia Tech in the fall.
