Highlight the role members play in great public schools

NJEA President Marie Blistan, Vice-President Sean M. Spiller and Secretary-Treasurer Steve Beatty have released videos recognizing and thanking all NJEA members in honor of American Education Week.

As a result of the work of NJEA’s 200,000 members, New Jersey’s schools are among the very best in the nation. That success is the result of the hard work and professional excellent of the men and women who work in those schools.

During American Education Week and always, NJEA salutes every member who does that important work.

On National ESP Day, Nov. 15, 2017, NJEA celebrates the work and achievements of its members who are Educational Support Professionals (ESPs) in our state’s public schools.  ESPs include secretaries, bus drivers, paraprofessionals, lunch aides, security guards, custodians, maintenance workers, and computer technicians among a host of other job categories.
