• A Virtual NJEA Member Benefits Fair is a great way to stay connected with members and help them to maximize the benefits of their membership. Unless otherwise arranged by the affiliate, NJEA Member Benefits hosts virtual fairs using the Zoom platform. Affiliates are responsible for inviting and sharing the Zoom meeting link invitation with confirmed, registered members. During the virtual fair, NJEA/NEA Member Benefits will provide a slide presentation explaining the member benefits program and facilitate invited vendors to talk about their programs and services for approximately 2 minutes each. Members can ask their questions throughout the presentation, using the chat feature and vendors will provide answers in real time. At the request of the affiliate, NJEA Member Benefits will ask vendors to provide prizes to give away at the end of the event.

    *In requesting a virtual fair, you acknowledge that you are coordinating such request through the local president or appropriate affiliate chairperson.

  • It is recommended that you invite no more than 15 vendors to participate. You may request that the vendors donate door prizes.
  • After confirming the event, NJEA Member Benefits will create a Zoom meeting link for the affiliate to distribute to registered attendees. Vendors will be admitted into the Zoom meeting 15 minutes prior to the starting time for members. Members will not be admitted into the Zoom meeting before the designated time.
