  • A Member Benefits Fair requires a location and tables to be provided by the affiliate or venue. Usually, each business partner who exhibits is provided with one table and a chair. The exhibitor may bring a table drape and/or signage. Typically from 10 to 25 exhibitors participate. You may request that the exhibitors donated door prizes.
  • Exhibitors normally arrive about 30 minutes prior to the starting time for members. The total time for exhibitors to be present is usually about 2 hours.

  • Exhibitors require water during the fair. Food is at your discretion. We wish to inform potential exhibitors about what to expect in the invitation.
  • A Member Benefits Fair may be a stand-alone event or a portion of a larger event. It is very helpful to understand the entire program and how the Member Benefits Fair will fit. One very attractive possibility is to pair a Member Benefits Fair with an extended full-service Optical Academy site visit. Please contact Optical Academy at 973-298-1400 to investigate this possibility. You are allowed to extend the services to students and community. The affiliate contact needs to coordinate with Optical Academy, the venue, and NJEA Member Benefits.
  • If NJEA is to bear any cost-sharing for this event, the host association must work with the regional UniServ staff and ensure that no business entity competing with NJEA Member Benefits business partners is invited. All invitations to exhibitors shall be issued through NJEA Member Benefits staff.
