Teachers aren’t the only people in our public schools making an impact on children and their community.

The educational support professionals at Charles Lewis Middle School in Blackwood host a heroes luncheon for firemen, police and other local heroes.

The cafeteria staff prepare the meal, while the custodial and paraprofessionals help with all the details. But the students also get involved by writing thank you notes and making posters and centerpieces.
