We Are What We Eat – Greenhouse Studies at Mt. Hebron Middle School in Montclair provides an all-encompassing approach to the environment and a wide-range of topics from chemistry to garden design. The eighth grade curriculum emphasizes nutrition, focusing on what people eat, where food is grown, how it is processed, and how the environment is affected. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
