Educators are collaborators, and now, more than ever, NJEA members are reaching out to connect, share their experiences and best practices with remote instruction, and find ways to meet their students’ needs, whether that be by ensuring access to food, identifying creative outlets, or just supporting them and their families through a challenging time.

NJEA Together is an online resource that will help facilitate that connection among members. In addition to professional development resources and a social wall that encourages members to post their strategies using #NJEAStillLearning, members will find inspiring stories, social and emotional resources, and COVID-19 information related to health care and crisis-mandated changes to education policy.

The intent of NJEA Together is to encourage collaboration and connection across job categories, counties, and content areas, so we’ll be encouraging you – and all NJEA members – to share your stories. Visit NJEA Together often to hear from educators just like you.

The heart of a union has always been in its solidarity. The strength of education has always been the belief that knowledge is power. Those principles, combined, will guide NJEA members, their families, and the students we are proud to serve through this crisis.
