NJEA Hipp Foundation
Grant opportunities for NJ public school employees
New Jersey's public school employees are among the most creative and dedicated in the nation. Each day our classrooms are alive with new, exciting, creative, innovative projects.
The NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in Education makes it possible for school employees to receive grants that will help them bring creative ideas to life.
The only foundation of its kind in New Jersey, the Hipp Foundation supports initiatives to promote excellence in education. More than $1.5 million in grants for innovative educational projects that represent a bold, fresh approach by school employees has already been awarded. You can reach for your dreams. Apply for a Hipp grant and bring your innovative ideas to life.

Grant application process
Applications will be accepted by mail with a postmark date no later than March 1 of each year. If you're interested in applying for a Hipp Foundation grant, we encourage you to read the section on Tips for Applying before you complete the Hipp Grant Application. Please be aware that the Hipp Application was recently modified to eliminate the requirement that the applicant identify the type of grant being sought. However, an applicant requesting a Continuation Grant will need to provide feedback on the status of the current grant and the potential for continued success in an additional section.
