New Jersey’s public schools rank best in the nation in the 2019 Quality Counts report just released by Education Week. The widely respected report, now in its 23rd year, measures a number of factors, from student achievement to school funding to the success students achieve once they leave school. After finishing a close second to Massachusetts in the four previous years, New Jersey took over the top spot based on the overall quality and performance of its public schools.
