PEP Grants

Public Education Partnership (PEP) grants share the successes of New Jersey’s public schools while building community support and involvement.

PEP programs cover a variety of topics and areas, including combatting privatization, passing school budgets, addressing drug and alcohol issues in the community, and helping to keep teen drivers safe. For more information about PEP programs and how to use them to increase community awareness of the great things happening in our public schools, contact us below.

Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, all requests for PEP, FAST, and Read Across NJ grants and reimbursements must be submitted through the new portal: Leader Connect.

You can find instructions for submitting a request through Leader Connect here.

The Public Education Partnership is proud to support the NJEA FAST, or Families and Schools Together work for children, program. The goal of FAST is to involve parents and families in their children’s education through programs and events to help improve student achievement and ensure that families feel welcome and connected to our schools.

Proud Moments

Has your local or county association participated in a community outreach activity that you’d like to share? Send a brief description and your best photo to njeareview@njea.org. If children are pictured—even in a public setting—you must provide proof that you have parental or guardian permission for NJEA to publish the photo.

Use this photo release form if you do not already have media release forms on file for pictured students.
