Ashley Yanchuck and Alicia Somers of Spotswood Public Schools in Middlesex County were awarded a $6,200 grant to give PreK and kindergarten students the opportunity to learn computer science and coding through age-appropriate activities that will foster their creativity and collaboration skills. Students will create their own models, loops, codes and more. These coding activities will assist the young learners in building early problem-solving skills, strengthen logical reasoning, encourage creativity and imagination and keeps learners engaged and having fun!
