Cathryn Weiss-Connors of the Sussex Wantage School District in Sussex County was awarded a $8,600 grant to create opportunities for students to work in teams to build robots, solve problems, and learn basic programming. Through collaboration, students will appreciate the strengths that each individual brings to the team. They will learn successful teams are those in which all voices are heard. “This is a great opportunity to encourage students to have fun with STEM while learning life skills like collaboration and teamwork,” Cathryn shared.
