Inspirational. Empowering. Motivating.
That’s the best way to describe Gloucester County Education Association’s (GCEA) Women’s History Month Panel Discussion held on March 12. The room was packed with members eager to hear the perspectives and experiences of some of Gloucester County’s most influential women leaders. It was an evening of powerful conversation, shared experiences and community leadership in action.

The GCEA was also proud to present Assemblywoman Heather Simmons (Simmons & Bailey) with the Elizabeth A. Allen Women in Education award in recognition of her leadership, commitment to our communities and being a champion of women’s rights.

Panelists inspired members and showed what true community leadership looks like. Special thanks goes out to GCEA Equity Committee Chair Joyce Farr for continuing to make this incredible event possible, and to UniServ Region 2 field representatives Jessica Denney and Desiree Hindman for serving as moderators.
