On Jan. 30, the Cumberland County Council of Educational Associations (CCCEA), in partnership with the Atlantic County Council of Educational Associations (ACCCEA), the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, and the Vineland Police Department had a food drive and distribution event in Vineland.
Approximately 30 volunteers, who were a mixture of our association members and the community, were able to provide food for more than 100 families!
“Food insecurity is a major issue in communities across our stated,” said CCCEA President Mil Johnson. “We’re sharing the work that we are doing to encourage others to address food insecurity in their communities.”
