NJEA and the CURE Insurance Arena co-sponsored a children’s book drive during the Hot Wheels Monster Truck Live Glow Party. Ten donated books were equivalent to one monster truck ticket.
The East Windsor Education Association (Mercer) facilitated the book drive at the arena and delivered the books to EWEA Pride/FAST Chair Angela Castaneda and her class. Jason Pukel, a Jersey City educator and NJEA member who lives in East Windsor, worked with the CURE Insurance Arena and EWEA.
