NJEA worked with the College of Education at William Paterson University to provide information, resources and training for prospective educators on careers in education.
Topics included teaching contracts, pathways to the profession, information on teacher licensure, how to become a substitute teacher or paraprofessional, the benefits of union membership and NJEA’s Early Teaching Career Network.
Students were also able to participate in an education job fair.
