Creating Learning Environments for All Students
The program includes a keynote address from Temple Grandin, animal scientist & autism self-advocate. Grandin is the most accomplished and well-known adult with autism in the world. Her fascinating life, with all its challenges and successes, was featured in the HBO full-length film Temple Grandin, starring Claire Danes. Dr. Grandin is a speaker who inspires and motivates others through her story.
In addition to the keynote, conference workshops will cover topics of interest to teachers and educational support professionals, including dyslexia, co-teaching, multiple intelligences, least restrictive environment, technology and behavior management. See flier for details.
A continental breakfast and lunch are included in the $60 registration fee ($30 for NJSEA members). Register by Feb. 23 for a 50 percent discount. Registration deadline is March 30. Online registration only.
