NJEA Jim George Collective Bargaining Summit
The annual Jim George Collective Bargaining Summit is an opportunity for local associations to come together for training opportunities that benefit members at the bargaining table.
Event Description
The Jim George Collective Bargaining Summit Conference provides NJEA members with the opportunity to learn more about the pertinent issues facing unions during bargaining, as well as develop strategies to successfully negotiate contracts that New Jersey’s public school employees deserve.
This year’s conference will include workshops such as constructing a salary guide, preparing your local for job actions, bargaining equity for ESP members’ needs and more. Regardless of whether you are a seasoned negotiator or new to the team, the Jim George Bargaining Summit has something for you.
The NJEA Jim George Collective Bargaining Award is presented at the conference and all nominated associations are recognized as well. To nominate a local association, visit njea.org/cbaward. The deadline for nominations is Sept. 5, 2025.
