The NJ Division of Pension and Benefits is continuing to process Medicare Part B and D reimbursements for retirees required to pay the additional premium amounts above the basic premium of $144.60 in 2019. While the COVID-19 pandemic greatly reduced the staff available to process these applications, the delay of these checks understandably has been a point of frustration for retirees. NJREA/NJEA has communicated this frustration and will continue to advocate for its members.
