NJEA, CURE Insurance Arena and Hot Wheels Monster Truck Live partner to donate coats to Mercer County students

The New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) partnered up for this year’s Hot Wheels Monster Trucks LIVE ‘Glow Party’ with promoter, Family Entertainment LIVE and the Oak View Group management team to establish a coat drive to assist needy youth in Mercer County. To add to the excitement, one third grade class from the Paul Robeson Elementary School in Trenton was invited for a behind the scenes look at the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live show, which took place at the CURE Insurance Arena Feb. 9 – 11.

On Thursday, Feb. 8 students visited the Arena during load-in to meet Cody Holman, the Hot Wheels Monster Truck driver for the truck, Bone Shaker. Students were eager to ask Cody various questions about his unique job and get autographs from the monster truck professional. After the behind-the-scenes experience, students were welcomed to take home a coat from the hundreds of donated coats generously given by patrons over the donation month in January.
