Faith Roncoroni of Phillipsburg School District in Warren County was awarded a $10,000 grant that will allow students to create their own comics and network with comic professionals to produce a professional-grade comic. Students will promote their work to local comic professionals and shops to sell their work. In addition, they will build a brand for their comic that includes stickers, prints, t-shirts and different covers. The goal is to continue to foster a love of art and writing and help students learn more about comics as a storytelling art form.
