NJ Hall of Fame offers inspiring videos

It’s more important than ever to encourage and inspire our school children to become their best and persevere through these challenging times. That’s why we’ve asked the NJEA and educators across the state to take the lead on promoting the New Jersey Hall of Fame’s Arete Video Series, a weekly program featuring NJ celebrities sharing messages of hope and lessons on how to reach the pinnacle of their chosen professions.

“Arete” is a Greek word that means “the act of actualizing one’s highest and best sense of self, with a moral excellence of character.” As the cornerstone of the NJ Hall of Fame and its mission, we’re promoting the concept of Arete through these videos. Dozens of other prominent organizations will also be distributing these videos each week.

The NJ Hall of Fame’s family of supporters is so grateful that educators have continued to educate our students remotely during this crisis, and these videos will support them in their efforts. You can learn more via the fact sheet below.

Consider sharing these important and inspiring 1-5 minute videos with your students and their parents. New links will be coming  to each week, which can be shared through social media, email, e-newsletter, and more.
