Warren County educator Lisa Buhl, from Washington Township School District, was awarded a $2,900 continuation grant to expand her Family Literacy night program. With the goal of bringing families and students together and engaging them in literacy, this project will use bingo games to motivate students to read by providing reading-level appropriate books as prizes. Parents will discover reading strategies that will develop and/or increase their child’s fluency and comprehension while participating in the literacy night.
