Sussex County educator Rachel Van Gorden, from Montague Township School District, was awarded a $10,000 grant. Project C.A.F.E. addresses the diversity of our students through food. It promotes a climate of acceptance by exploring cultures through the foods various cultures value and looks at food insecurity. In addition, it brings together students of varying abilities and partners them to prepare meals. The culminating event will include families and will connect them to services to assist in increasing their food security.
