Bergen County educators Catherine Troia-Slutzky and Robyn Ivey, from the Northern Valley Regional School District, were awarded a $3,900 continuation grant to expand current vocational training opportunities for students on the autism spectrum from ages of 3 to 21. This continuation grant builds on the success of the current hydroponic garden and greenhouse by adding outdoor raised garden beds and provides greater accessibility for students in wheelchairs and those with other mobility issues.
